Mate you're wasting your time. He thinks the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. Not worth engaging with. Just look at all the laughing responses he's made to posts he doesn't understand.

Liberals do not have a good record in this country as for example their insistence on laissez-faire at all costs led to millions dying of starvation, But of course they knew what was right.

The liberal Green Party insisted on a Carbon Tax in the last Government leading to thousands of people, particularly elderly and infirm, being unable to heat their homes. This I know from experience. They lost 11 out of their 12 seats in the recent election as a result. I have years of experience of working in the area of Climate Change, and I know it is a reality and we need to do something. Hammering vulnerable people with a Carbon Tax without putting in place proper supports for them to convert to alternative and sustainable forms of heating, is crass arrogance. It smacks of 'let them eat cake'.

I am not against the gesture re the armbands - where did you get that idea from? If I was young enough to be still playing and my club asked me to wear one, I probably would do so. But I am very much against people being harassed because they exercise their free will not to participate.

As for the abusive posts - not yours - I will simply say quod erat demonstrandum.

How very dare I defend the right of anyone to have an opinion of their own and not to join the people who KNOW what we all should do. Clearly something wrong with me.

I'm late to this so it may have already been dealt with. Carbon tax was introduced in 2010 by a government which did include the Greens. Since then there have been governments without the greens who never did away with them, why was that? The assertion that the greens insisted on a carbon tax this time round while two larger government parties conceded the ground is nonsense. Carbon tax is here because every party wants it here. They may blame the greens this time but who will the new government blame?

I wouldn't ever vote for the greens because their economic stuff is crazy, same as I wouldn't vote foe SF for tye same reason but it's ludicrous to put Carbon tax on the greens of the last government.

Now that we have established that you are wrong on that one, what else in your posts on this topic might be wrong?

It's not about being woke, it's not about forcing your agendas on other people, it's about basic human decency, empathy and understanding.

Basic human decency is not a left or right wing issue. It's sad to see that some people seem to be having trouble grasping that basic concept.

They won't care about the money, it took more than any money could give them back.

Over 30 years after being gay was "legalised" before you could be Gay in the armed forces. Btw that was only after the European courts forced their hands. Love to see the defence to why...
