if you intend to slaughter a everton pro at least look back at his career. He has never been a speed merchant or a physical presence but he has probably the keenest football brain in regards seeing a pass and making blind side runs and he has very quick feet. he is not a liability and will prove his worth this season. When has this happened?

He scored a goal and had a decent first half. Then had a shocking second half. Your point?watch the complete 90 minutes of everton v lille.
How dareth you compare Sirs Cahill and Weir to Master Osman. It reminds me of the same sort of tripe written about Cahill and Weir who were also both magnificent servants to the club when they had gone past their peak periods.
may or may not have posted this before.
Osman was one of Moyes' casualties in all honesty. if he could have played in his best position week in week out he would be one of those best players outside of the national team. Great feet on the ball and very good reactions at times to get into spaces. the constant playing out wide and all over meant he never got that chance, hell when he did for 4 months he shone in that role.
He has been a great player for the club as im sure someone would have paid him more to play in his best position a few years ago. He is looking like a liability when he is on the pitch though and that will be a problem in bigger games he is filling in for.
is that four months across his entire career aggregated including pre season ?
The four months at the end of one season.
i have always thought he was decent and did his job well in the team, especially with the likes of arteta and cahill alongside him. I just think playing him in his best role would have gotten much more out of him and developed him to be more creative than he is.
