...the lad's Marmite on here, some like him some don't. I'm not keen on Marmite but I'm a big fan of Osman.
He did have a very good run of form leading up to his England call up.Hello mate sorry to labour the point - you are saying that in one period of February to May in an undisclosed season, Osman played around 10-16 games and consistently shone?
Apologies for carrying on but this will inform my choice of gif.
I could say 2010 but that would be a guess.Hello mate sorry to labour the point - you are saying that in one period of February to May in an undisclosed season, Osman played around 10-16 games and consistently shone?

he was playing cm then was he not, I might be wrong, he was poor in that position, the most dribbled past player in the league that season in factHe did have a very good run of form leading up to his England call up.
That's the only thing I can think of though.
Oh, I don't remember. I just remember thinking that he was playing well for a few games there. Then everything reverted to normal and I wanted to boil my head when I saw his name on the team sheet.he was playing cm then was he not, I might be wrong, he was poor in that position, the most dribbled past player in the league that season in fact
fair enough them was flying at the start of the season and everyone probably looked decent, certainly in the second half he was poor especially when gibson was absent, but of course moyes stuck him in at every opportunity, I remember the game at arsenal when gibson, barkley and fellaini formed a formidable midfield, next game barkley dropped for osman, but according to some we should never question managersOh, I don't remember. Well, to be fair, you've never been a professional manager, so having an opinion that differs from one is wrong and you're a bad person for that.fair enough them was flying at the start of the season and everyone probably looked decent, certainly in the second half he was poor especially when gibson was absent, but of course moyes stuck him in at every opportunity, I remember the game at arsenal when gibson, barkley and fellaini formed a formidable midfield, next game barkley dropped for osman, but according to some we should never question managers

my point was if elong watched the lille game he would be able to see his passing range and movement( beyond the striker) which is what we could use in breaking down stubborn defences.. If osmen tired in the second half then it's up to the manager to get the best out of him (cameos). His best years are behind him obviously, some would say he never had a good year that's their choice, I think he can do a job for a year.
marmite hits the nail on the head. I have supported Leon on here because he has been a decent pro playing in a very average side for most of his career. Only lately have Everton built a very good squad and look a excellent footballing side. He certainly isn't my favourite in this squad but he certainly doesn't deserve to be called a liability. IMHO
yes, and Barkley nearly scored a screamer which would have broken the 0-0 stalemate. don't question it though mate, the manager see's them everyday, having an opinion on team selection on a forum is out of order, good blue is ossie, sacrificed his first born to the footballing gods to gain favour to everton etc etcyes, and Barkley nearly scored a screamer which would have broken the 0-0 stalemate. I remember thinking, 'that lad's a good player'.....and then he was dropped....for Osman!
