Do like the look of Ben Davis but he could be expensive . The cheap option is using Oviedo but he's still young and could make mistakes defensively. Baines was a late starter thought so we shouldn't worry . Logically if Baines was sold in January then I would use Oviedo for 6 months to see if he is the mustard

Using an inexperienced left back for the second half of the season is the opposite of logic...

He's played international and CL footie mate. He isn't one of the kids.

If he's not good enough to come then he shouldn't be here really. He's got to get a chance sometime.

I see him more as an attacker than a full back and he's looked decent and quick from what I've seen of him. Plus, as much as he's a bell, Moyes usually had a decent eye for a defender.

We either get a proper player for the position or give him a go IMO. Usually the only players for sale in Jan are outcasts or massively over-priced.

I'd be happy enough taking a chance.

Bit harsh but he does look to lightweight to be a proper defender
