Why do we have this big mouthed, lame brained idiot coaching our kids in the first place!
The guy is just an oaf. Get him out of ff.

"Leighton Baines wanted to join Manchester United in the summer."

And I wanted to bang Shania Twain, looks like we've both **** out there.

Ahh well.

Never wanted him back in the first place, he was poison when Rooney was here, plus he also was thinking about his bank account when he was drooling over Rooney. Martinez needs to get rid but doing that could upset the backroom staff and some of the players.

Correct Kev, the guys a twa*t. I'm hoping Martinez eventually gets rid of him and has only kept him around until he's a bit more settled in the job.

I am so glad we did not give Stubbs the Everton job, can you imagine every time Man U came knocking Stubbs would be there I Will pay for the taxi Dave (what a tit he is coming out with that today?)

the interview was on radio merseyside yesterday he was talking abut his book ,football saved my life , why he had to say this about baines fuk knows, he was also talking ****e about young ross , hate alan stubbs with a passion ,evertonian my arse,

Absolutely no need to say it. What good is going to come from this. Now we all know that Baines wants to go to United. If Baines form drops he will be on a hiding to nothing now. Well done Stubbs you clown.

RM needs to have a firm word ,but it may be common knowledge at EFC among BK and everyone -it may just be a ruse to let Unt no he wanted to leave but decided to stay - he is with us and not that Ginger numpty and that's all what matters and if they come back in for Baines in Jan same price again 18 million!

I think it is better that the whole matter is out in the open.
It was the elephant in the room.
I think we all knew that Utd was too good for him to resist.

But,he has gone up even further in my estimation because of the way he has behaved.
He is a true professional and an example to every youngster on how to deal with difficult situations.

I believe that his transfer will be sanctioned in January and I don't begrudge him the move although I am not sure it is the best for his career.

Already we have seen that RM can find his way around the transfer market and if the team is doing well up to January I think we may see Baines get his wish and RM get some more money to spend.

I have just read Alan Stubbs comments on Baines and is he that desperate to promote a book? he needs a RM to have a big word with him but if that's what did happen so be it Baines is still in a blue shirt of EFC and that's all that matters - if the Ginger one comes back in Jan simple 18 million or NO again!

Stubbs is out of place saying this, if it was to come into the pubkic domain it should have been via Martinez, Kenwright (with Martinez permission) or through the player himself.

It smacks of a guy desperate to look good that'll tell you anything you want to hear.

In terms of Baines, unless we're regularly in the Champions League and fighting for trophies a bid from the likes of United, Chelsea and City will make most players want to move on. We look at players, especially ones who are Blues themselves with blue tinted specs. For most players playing is a job and you've got to do what's best for yourself personally.

It seems Baines has acted in the best possible manner here by getting on with the job, a stark contrast to some players such as Cabaye etc.

We need to sit him down and offer him a contract. If he signs great. If he doesn't want to then we either cash in and squeeze the most we can out of United or whoever (January £££ premium) or keep him until his contract finishes. We aren't going to be able to replace him with a player of equal standing, so why not get the rest of his best years out of him?

Stubbs is a thick **** for letting his gob run away with him here.

However, in reality, we all knew that Baines must have given Moyes the green light to try & sign him, otherwise he'd have not even bothered if Baines had told him he just didn't fancy it.

Bainsey obviously said he fancied the move if the clubs could agree - they didn't so he stays, he's an honourable kid, we know all of this, just a shame that lame brain Stubbs has re-opened the discussion.

Remember Stubbs got Prentice to apologise for ****ging the players that season we ended our last five games with five defeats. Self-serving tit
