Not here to gloat at all. Our players were clearly playing to impress the new manager and get themselves into his plans. We were always going to start quickly and I feel your tactics played into our hands. Second half we took our foot of the gas big time but I don’t think we ever looked too troubled.

You should have had a stonewall penalty and who knows how that could’ve changed the game. All in all I think we deserved the 3 points but I just pray this isn’t another flash in the pan.

Hope you get the right man in to drag you out of this mess because you don’t belong down near the drop zone. All the best for the rest of the season
do one you snake!

I want to see Lookman getting some game time. His pace would have suited the game today. Our back 4 are terrible! It's all about damaged limitation now until the transfer window in January. Didn't think we'd be looking over our shoulders at a relegation battle!

We aren't looking over our our shoulders at a relegation battle. We are looking up at one.

Beni the only bright spot so I voted for him.

And I have sympathy with the Kev shouts.

I cannot understand why he was hooked at half time.
Yes, I can't understand why Kev was withdrawn unless he had a slight injury. Panic button will surely have been pressed after such a poor performance, we played right into their hands. If the person(s) who sanctioned the sale of Rom without a replacement in is still there (?) then I fear for us this season. Root and branch clear out required.

Without Rooney, the game petered out, and the only sound was of Leicester fans goading the visitors with “going down” and “we’re going to win the league”.

Big shout to all the lads who sold their tickets in the away end to Leicester fans that season. Clearly a great bunch.

The way we are playing, we absolutely deserve to be near the drop zone. You'll do fine this season.

The face that launched a thousand tomatoes.

Not watched this because I am at work. I'd love to hear what Big Sam has to say about what needs doing and how he'd sort us out if that is what is in this video. I'm starting to come around to the idea of a specialist 'get us out of trouble' manager. I feel violated just writing that.

When we went 2 down, I was quite angry with the players. All I could think was that if you are playing with our badge on your chest, you should be expecting to beat the Leicester Cities of this world, even if it requires rolling our sleeves up and fighting it out.

Yes there is more fight under Unsworth, but the players don't look to have enough about them to do any better than today. We have to hope we get 3 worse teams in the league this year. We've been let down by not getting defensive replacements at both full back positions, and possibly at least one other central defender, and not getting a replacement for Lukaku. DCL is not who we should be counting on in these times. You need someone like Kevin Campbell who has the nous and fight in him as he did when he came in. Oumar, as much as you try, there's not much in your newly acquired locker.

We have been sold a turkey in not sorting out our lack of pace. If we have been gambling on the return on Bolassie and Coleman then we need to be shipping out whoever agreed to this strategy.

This! I cannot for the life of me understand that there was no alternative for Lukaku. They'd known for a long time he was going to leave and still we didn't get a replacement.

This is the first time I have ever listened to Big Sam for any length of tome and you know what.....he talks a lot of sense and does so in plain man’s terms :(

But he's a dinosaur Khal and would have people burning their season tickets.
The fact that he has a plan, a modus operandi that has been proven to work for clubs in the drop zone appears to be an alien concept.
His talking about studying players in great detail is spot on.
And there doubters about his ability to attract players to a club... I seem to recall a World Cup winner in Djorkaeff signing for Bolton, didn't Campo leave Real Madrid for Burnden Park and JJ Okocha was a real hoofball merchant back in the day.

I'm not saying that we should go for Sam Allardyce right now, but if we don't get at least two wins from Watford, Palace, Southampton and West Ham, then his never been relegated record will be hard to ignore.

I don't want to see Everton playing ugly, survival at all costs football, but better that than relegation.

I understand Baningime's impact and his display was good but if anyone other than Wayne had given Wayne's performance we would be singing his praises right now. Credit where credit is due: Rooney MotM for me.

Heard some shouts from the commentators yesterday saying all the changes Unsy made seemed like a "punishment" to the players Ronk constantly called up before. Bunch of crap.
