...just got in from a brilliant weekend in Dublin with my nearest and dearest. Got to Dublin airport for kick-off with yet another Guinness in front of me only to be left disappointed. I won’t let it blight my few days in a fine city. Fortunately I had to get to the gate and missed the last 25mins.

From what I saw Rooney had a touch of quality, great pass to Lennon. I’m not a Lennon fan, runs around lots and flatters folk to think he’s brilliant support for his full back. The reality is he switches off defensively and ball watches. He did brilliantly getting back to Vardy for the first goal but then undone the good work.

My 20 points by Christmas benchmark is looking very doubtful. It’s a common saying in football that the ‘league doesn’t lie after 10 games’.

First Everton game watching with my 10 day old son, not sure I want to put him through a lifetime of supporting us.

Feels a bit weird being a blue at the moment, never felt so dissintrrested really, there’s no name on the team sheet that you’d pay to watch, just a bunch of random players managed badly from top to bottom.

Not sure how we got it so terribly wrong, but it’ll surely take years to rectify from
Here.

MotM?

That would be the lovely Jenny Seagrove. Still beautiful and the only thing that cheered me up watching the coverage

Just got home and I'm struggling to name a MOTM.

Lennon and Mirallas were our brightest players in the first half so it was baffling why they were both subbed.

Beni did all right when he came on, but that's about it really.

It's very hard to see where a win's going to come through at the moment.

*turns to alcohol for support

fortunately: the hardest games for the first half of the season have passed us by, with the exception of Liverpool

unfortunately: I legitimately don't see where we're picking up points

it used to be that on our day, we could beat any team, get stuck in and fight out three points. now... I don't see a single team in the league that is incapable of beating us. no other team in the league is looking at Niasse, DCL or Sandro and feeling jealous of our strike force. no other team in the league is looking at Jags or Williams and feeling jealous of our CB options.

Baines is playing out of his skin, and he's still bang average... this is his last season at anywhere near top level. Kenny losing confidence is a real blow, and the only bright spots are Beni and Kev. Both of them look capable of creating something, but as for pure finishers... I really can't tell at this point. Apparently Sigurdsson has created the most chances for us this season (before this game)... how is that possible? He's been anonymous most games, and only has flashes of life.

I'd rant on about Koeman and Walsh... but I'm not going to start pointing fingers until January. Until then, It's time to work. In January we need a revamp of the team. But for now, we need to dig ourselves out of the hole.

Everton beat you to it today mate. A second wounding could be fatal.

Even though we had the ball most of the second half, it felt like we could have played for another two hours and not come close to scoring.

Leicester barely came out of the tunnel in the second half and still were comfortable.

Ideally we should fire everyone one in management /board for the summer window madness. Including moshri. But i guess we do need to keep him for his money.
