And that is exactly why they have no chance.

It would set a precedent , man city or Chelsea get done, they have got in the champions league.
Any team that finished 5 or 6 could say ot cost us say 40 million because we couldn't enter that competition.
It a minefield.

Can’t imagine you can avoid making a legal decision because it’s complicated or will set a precedent for further more complicated cases. Just have to apply the law and what happens after that happens.

However, if the terms of the PL regulations set out the punishment for breaches, then that’s that. We have been punished. Although given the regs didn’t even say how the punishment would be calculated, they are clearly pathetically written.

Sounds like they're entitled to some compensation, surely? They've already found us guilty.

Certainly last season anyway, surely their issue would fall with the Premier League, not Everton because even though we committed a crime, the PL did not conclude it before end of the last season.

Leeds I’ve seen cry over the season before when they still stayed up. Leeds showing themselves right up here.
