What we need is a 'Bad refs' thread so that we can track all the bad refs in the league and their contentious decisions againts Everton.

To be honest I'm struggling to make a decent ref.

None of them are as bad as that absolute bell from a few years ago though. Can't remember his name now but he was a notorious nobber - his reg plate was something like "MR B1G".

He used to meet up with any managers up in the North West that weekend at the Marriott in Worsley for a few drinks on a Friday. Absolute cretin.

* I think it might have been Phil Dowd

I did see something that Mason has given more pens against us than any ref has against any other club. 8 is allegedly the number, 7 whilst on the field and 1 while VAR.

No single ref has given more pens against one team in the history of football, apparently.

Him and Moss struggle to get out the centre circle and just blow up for random free kicks, thats so they can have a breather and catch up with play
Been saying this about Moss for years.

It's hypnotic if you start watching him during the game. It's just so obvious.

A yellow card is a good minutes rest for him.

Hence why we need a written record of bad refs as memory can be hazy at times.

There is no such thing as a “good ref”.

Every ref, though totally impartial, gives contentious decisions because the majority of Footballing decisions are subjective and we are naturally biased.
