Surely he will field a stronger team on the weekend and rest the down trodden today.

Why should Stek start? I'd rather Pickford get as much game time as possible.

Very good question. Pickford would always be my first choice but knowing Koeman and how he thinks I really believe he picks Stek. Pickford always first choice for the Saturday and Sunday games. War of attrition for the long season and as insurance if Jordan goes down for a while to keep him sharp.

I'm sure he'll rest Pickford, but I don't see why he should. We need a win here, desperately.
