Whether we take this as a break from the league or a real opportunity to try to win a trophy, we come into this off the back of a strong showing last time out against Brentford.

Beto was substituted on the hour, whilst Danjuma was only used as a late substitute. I anticipate both starting here.

Basically hand starters-potential starters needing a match this tie and the rest on the periphery get their chance.

The name of the game here is to avoid injuries and suspensions.

Get it over with and focus on Luton which is 10x more important.

Go full strength, despise managers who don't in cups ( when playing good opposition)

Villa will have loads of games this season with Europe so you'd think this is the one cup they'll happily sacrifice, if they go weaker they are there for the taking.

I detest them only slightly less than Liverpool. But I don't want us to go 100% for this and leave ourselves weakened for the Luton and B'mouth games.

This is the thing for me, timing feels terrible for this game after a great performance at the weekend. Would much rather we were going straight into the Luton game with the hope of building some momentum

Dont be having a fit on Wednesday then when/if we lose , I want us to win every game, even though obviously we wont - lose v villa and it may have the knock on effect for Sat v Luton - it may have no effect at all, we will see
