He plays for his boyhood team as a first choice player, is on the fringe of being a regular for his country, has a settled young family and wife and is a fantastically nice bloke.

I'm not sure how much more ambition he needs to be successful in life.

Playing better than he has for the last 2 seasons isn't that hard, hes been average since about 2009.
