LB - Left Back - Leighton Baines the best/world class?

Best in the world for me. I see shouts of Alba being better than him, but no. Alba will become the best LB in the World at one point, but right now, Leighton Baines is far and away the worlds best.
Its absolutely brilliant that i get to witness the worlds best left back play for my Club week in week out.

He's a joy to watch at times. Hemust misplace a pass about once a season. Everyone likes skillful players and goalscorers and we don't have enough but we have had some great defenders and he's now pushing, in fact he is, now Moyes best signing ever.

News of Moyes could easily rekindle the Baines to United rumors.

This off-season is shaping up to be insane and full of change.

If Moyes buys Baines, he'll throw us a small fortune for him I suspect. Wouldn't surprise me this one as he is one of very few players that would join him that would actually improve that team of theirs.

This. Mostly because he thinks Baines is worth it. Good to have the man who values our players the most on the other side of the negotiation table. I still doubt Baines will move, since he is such a Liverpool boy, as has been said before.

He talks about 'Gentlemen's agreements' a lot between managers. I think he has enough class not to take our best players

He's not exactly moving to Siberia, don't half our players live in Manchester as it is?

I think if it were to happen, it would be a transfer filled with "class". He knows the benefits that real market value would bring our transfer budget. I think he would only do it if Baines were to ask to join him. I don't think he would actively try to pry Baines away.

But, if Baines sees that Moyes is gone and is willing to bring him along, I fully expect Moyes would offer a healthy chunk of change for him (not a cutthroat offer).
