If you want good old-fashioned mindless action, and a few laughs, this is your movie. Nothing too demanding here, but definitely entertaining.

Watched death of stalin last night, superb film, it's far darker than iannucci's other stuff, the laughter very much goes hand in hand with genuine horror and tragedy, there are in fact a few moments in the film where the laughter pretty much stops and you are reminded that this stuff happened and how terrible it was, but it's also a genuinely brilliant piece of satire, the decision not to use crappy russian accents and just have a mix of accents works very well with the absurdity and chaos of the whole affair, brilliant cast with Buscemi and issacs being particularly fantastic

Can't wait to see it

Watched this cracker on Film4 last night, so it'll be on again.

Slick, ultra violent, ultra gory, ultra black comedy / horror.

A gang of red neck robbers, car jack and kidnap a car a seemingly innocent normal young couple, in order to get them to hand over personal details etc so they can empty their accounts.

However the seemingly normal young couple in the car are actually a pair of psychopathic serial killers, who have a girl tied up in the boot of their car.

Not for the faint hearted, but a great under the radar film.

Luke Evans is superb in the lead, as he wreaks bloody vengeance on the red necks.

Oh and ignore Ian. Absolutely watch 3. It’s not as good as 1 or 2 for me but a fun way to end the series.
