Can't believe I didn't watch this film until now. Possibly the most feelgood movie I've ever seen. My expectations were actually pretty low, but the film just blew me away with it's awesomeness. Can't wait to watch BttF 2 and 3 hopefully tomorrow. 10/10

Don't watch 3. Ideally you'd find a Delorian and got to the future and see the future you having just watched it and realise that you can go back and avoid that situation.

The Hills Have Eyes 2.

Where as the first one was B movie slapstick gore, as was the remake ( with a bit more money spent and better actors ),
this was just rubbish.

I wanted the mutants to live more than the non mutants.

Avoid.

I watched the first one (remake) as your post reminded me of it and it was on one of the jars movie channels on SKY the other day. Still good. Have the original (never seen) recorded. I also have the 2nd one recorded, but I remember it being crap.

The second one is almost like it's aimed at teens.

An impossibly good looking cast, non of whom can act.

Where as the first one(s) have that creeping sense of dread, number two is just boring until the last fifteen minutes, by they've got rid of most of the cast.

I really wouldn't waste and hour and a half of your life watching it Ian.

Oh and ignore Ian. Absolutely watch 3. It’s not as good as 1 or 2 for me but a fun way to end the series.

Bought the Blu-ray collection two years ago or something like that. I can't even give you a good reason why. Just always decided to watch something else I guess.

And yeah I'm definitely watching the third film as well. When I first start watching a box set I haven't seen before I watch all of it. Got a feeling this will be a less tiresome watch than the 5 Spider-Man films.

Watched death of stalin last night, superb film, it's far darker than iannucci's other stuff, the laughter very much goes hand in hand with genuine horror and tragedy, there are in fact a few moments in the film where the laughter pretty much stops and you are reminded that this stuff happened and how terrible it was, but it's also a genuinely brilliant piece of satire, the decision not to use crappy russian accents and just have a mix of accents works very well with the absurdity and chaos of the whole affair, brilliant cast with Buscemi and issacs being particularly fantastic

Thor: Ragnarok

Great movie. One of Marvel's finest (and funniest). Only negative is that I never cared about the villain. 8/10

For me that has largely been Marvels biggest problem throughout most the series

Sadly yes. They've had a couple of decent ones, with Loki easily being their best bad guy (in the first Avengers film), but usually they've been poor at creating good villains.
