Agree with both these posts, on every level.
I've just been reading how it's struggling to recoup what it cost to make -£114 mil.
The first one only initially weighed in with a $5mil profit globally.
What price genius ?

Saw bladerunner...super stuff, thought ryan gosling was excellent...his reaction when he had that reveal about his past was very powerful
I like you even more now Neil x
Went to see IT last night.
Surprisingly good.
As others have said, it's a coming of age film, crossed with a horror.
Some stand out performances from the young actors and I reckon there's a few of them going to go onto to big things.
Beautifully filmed too,
I quite enjoyed the film,as you say the youngsters were good, the clown wasnt as good as Tim Curry, looked like a genetically modified bugs bunny, the adult part should be quite good when its filmed
Agreed but the opening titles sequence made me want to vomit.![]()
Haunting music by Abel Korzeniowski, who composed the 'Penny Dreadful' scores (another tick in the box).
Really good film.
i was worried it was going to be over-long, but i was actually surprised with the abrupt ending...thought there would be another 20 minutes or so!
reckon there will be another?
the 2017 version of IT. IT was boooooooooooooring.
I think they've left it open to the possiblity of a sequel Neil.
Why did Jared Letos " Wallace " character disappear ?
What was K / Joe to Dekard ?
What happened at the end when Dekard went through the door ?
It's not doing too well at the box office by all accounts, which is due to today's cinema goers being in the main mindless, popcorn munching, no attention span idiots, so a lot depends on the eventual return.
Horses for courses mate.
Pennywise wasn't up to much, but the rest of it was very good imo, especially the kids and the way it was filmed.
Captured the dull life of small town America very well
