Last Film You Watched

Just finished Trainspotting for the umpteenth time. Without doubt in my top ten all time favourites - captures a moment in time for me almost like no other movie. I was born in 75, so this came out when I was in my very early twenties, and we had Britpop, Blair on the rise, etc, at the time. I’m now an early 40s wage slave, but this film always takes me back to a time of possibility. Ah well...

Just started watching Commando - got it as part of a three-for-a-fiver DVD ages ago (The Terminator and Predator being the other two films on there - great value!) Only watched it once before but I remember it being a great 80s action movie.
Brilliant pay off less than eight minutes in - Arnie reading a magazine, no view of the article, says “Why don’t they call him Girl George?” As Hawksbee would say, “One for the teenagers”...!

Went to see IT last night.

Surprisingly good.

As others have said, it's a coming of age film, crossed with a horror.

Some stand out performances from the young actors and I reckon there's a few of them going to go onto to big things.

Beautifully filmed too,
I quite enjoyed the film,as you say the youngsters were good, the clown wasnt as good as Tim Curry, looked like a genetically modified bugs bunny, the adult part should be quite good when its filmed

Yeah, Pennywise wasn't the best tbh.

More emphasis on scary rows of teeth, rather the sinister clown being every kids worst nightmare.

Thankfully chose the right option and went see Blade Runner again rather that watch the match.

@ste d' indica having re watched it, I'd like to revise my opinion of it.

It's as good as the first, there's so much stuff that links up on second viewing.

I may go and see it again lol

@Prevenger17 have you been to see it yet ?

Not yet buddy, was supposed to see it today but didn't get back from Cork until now and I'm wrecked. Still excited for it

Having just got in from that particular matinee horror show I wish I'd done the same mate.
