Last Film You Watched

Went to see Spider-Man homecoming last night, it was good, even though I initially thought it was a little soon for a Spider-Man reboot after Amazing Spider-Man 2, I think it was a good new take on the character and the Spider-Man world. I think Michael Keaton was really good in it as the Vulture, not your average moustache twirling "I want to take over the world!!" Sort of villan that you get in most of these superhero movies

Pretty good in a basic sort of way. Enjoyed it tbh.

Just got back from watching that myself, went in with high expectations but left feeling a bit meh, felt it was just ok nothing spectacular

Fair enough. I was trying to cool down my expectations a wee bit, but after seeing some reviews saying 'masterpiece' or 'Nolan's best' it was hard going.

Patriots Day.

I moved to Boston quite a few years ago. Being at work a quarter of a mile away, personally knowing the man who had his leg amputated, separated from his son (part of the film)......so this movie was hard viewing, despite watching it for a second time. However they did a magnificent job in making this.

Brilliantly done.

Also saw Dunkirk.

Visually stunning, sure. But as a movie it felt anonymous to me. I also thought they over-used the score. A bit disappointing.

Dunkirk

7.5/10.

Probably my favourite Nolan film. Cinematography was great and enjoyed it(?) A lot at the time but not that much substance there.

The last minute or so lost it 0.5 of a mark as it was cheesy and the score in the last 10 or so was also.
