Last Film You Watched

Dug out Officer and a Gentleman from my DVD collection seeing as it was valentines day. Forgotten what a babe Debra Winger was.

Actually a great film despite the soppy ending. Missus had a good sob so served its purpose.
Pretty Woman was on last night as I was going to bed. Alright film, except for the grotesque Robertson being cast in the eponymous role.

Missus likes that film but not one of my favs. Only good bit for me was the bit with the snails.

Officer and a Gentleman is twice the film. Winger is simply gorgeous in it. The young Gere is still raw and edgy/moody. And Louis Gossett Jr is just brilliant as the bully seargent, though not quite as good as the guy in Full Metal Jacket.

Dr Strange, a marvel film, not really into the comic genre, thought it was ok it might have been more enjoyable if you are a fan of these type of films
Next on the list was The battery,a zombie road buddy type that I enjoyed, very few zombies or gore in it,more about the mundane life thats led wandering about with little food or point

Incredible.

It's plot centres around a dad (a practical joker) going to visit his high-flying corporate daughter. He constantly dresses up as other people and wears fake teeth. The film is so much more than that. The film is 2hr45mins but it flew by. It may be the first time I have been in a cinema where everyone is laughing out loud at the same thing. They have already started on a Hollywood re-make.

Genuinely cannot think of a film like it.

Lion . Good film that 7.5/10 but not sure why some are raving about Dev Patel though, thought the little kid was miles better than the grown up version which couldn't have been that hard to play.

Not seen this yet, looking forward to it.

As for the remake, apparently Bill Murray was too slow and Jack Nicholson has stepped in and got the role.

Went to the flix last night to see it, thought it was very good, much better than the first, opinions eh !!

Same here - I really enjoyed it, and thought they pulled it off very well. I started to detest Ewan McGregor recently (he came across all smug and arrogant for my liking), but I instantly took to him again as Rent Boy.

It's not a rip-off of 'Unfriended'. It also has some nice graphic work in there, which is why instead of 5 it gets 6/10.

It's not the best or worst film I've seen. Still not sure about it, creepy 'bad' guy, not the normal ending for this type of film. 6/10.

Based on 'real events', this is pretty hard hitting.
Good performances by all the actors, especially Ben Schnetzer (really good performance) and James Franco in his cameo role (he also co-produced it).
I really liked it 7.5/10.

Watched 'We still Kill The Old Way' last night...... should have switched off as soon as I heard the state of the leader of the E2 gang mutter his first line in his fake white Rudeboy mockney black inner city wannabe voice.... totally embarrassing.
