Last Film You Watched

I started to watch The Nice Guys last night but didn't get to the last half an hour due to ill child. Very good though. I hope the last 30 minutes doesn't let it down.

It's not the best or worst film I've seen. Still not sure about it, creepy 'bad' guy, not the normal ending for this type of film. 6/10.




Based on 'real events', this is pretty hard hitting.
Good performances by all the actors, especially Ben Schnetzer (really good performance) and James Franco in his cameo role (he also co-produced it).
I really liked it 7.5/10.

Haha I know, maybe a bit generous but, he was ok in it and didn't detract from the film.
The guy who played his brother (Ben Schnetzer), was excellent though so either 7 or 7.5/10.
Worth a watch.

Spoiler: The Machine

'The Machine' is meant to be the mad guy but, is actually the foundation, for all the good stuff that happens.

Loved it.

Manchester by the Sea.

A bit too depressing and slow for my taste. I can see why it has been praised so much, though. Casey Affleck's performance is great, must have been pretty hard to play his character.

Really liked this one.
