Animal Kingdom is a 2010 Australian crime film written and directed by David Michôd, and starring Ben Mendelsohn, Joel Edgerton, Guy Pearce, James Frecheville, Luke Ford, Jacki Weaver, and Sullivan Stapleton.

Good acting, as you'd expect from that list.
The story is based on 'real events', as such it adds to the drama.
It was ok.

'Fin (Evan Bendall) a lone teen from a broken family gets caught up with the wrong crowd of delinquent kids in this horror film. His English teacher Mr. Gale (Robert Hands) decides to teach him and his friend Joe (Rory Colhart) a lesson they will never forget. The film is written and directed by first time feature helmer Ruth Platt. Cast includes Tom Cox, Michaela Prchalova and Dolya Gavanski.'

Pretty gory in parts, so not for the squeamish but, that aside, there are a number of issues prevalent throughout the film. Any of which could be argued about.
What shouldn't be up for discussion, is the performance of Robert Hands. He was outstanding.
