A bit teen movieish though ?

I know they were all teens, but thought they could've done more with it, as the idea was good

Yeah seemed to be aimed at a youngish audience,not saying it was great just a bit different to the usual,horror has become very stale the last few years,at least western produced horror

You're not wrong! It was a funny old film.
Visually amazing of course but the characters kept bouncing off various bits of space furniture.
It was expensive rubbish really.

You can always tell the people who have not seen the film on the big screen. They always damn it with faint praise

Bridesmaids is a series of sketches really. Also, it obviously helps to be female vis-a-vis the wedding stuff and everything.

I think it's very funny and that is due to the main character Kristen Wiig who is America's greatest comedy talent in my opinion.

When I was a kid my parents used to like the Carol Burnett Show. She was a great impressionist and satirist. Wiig is at least her equal.

I watched Invictus last night.

About the 1995 Springbok team who won the world cup.

At first I couldn't stomach Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela, but by the end of it, I stopped noticing Morgan.

Matt Damon was good, and his accent was pretty good, seemed natural to me (and the South African colleague said his accent was very good, unlike Leo DiCaprio's awful attempt in that Blood Diamond).

Worth a watch, although it focuses more on the WC bringing the country together rather than the sporting implications and controversy afterward.

A work colleague of mine who is from SA was very complimentary about Di Caprio's accent.

Watched 'The imitation game' last night. Well made and Cumberbund was good as usual. Turing's treatment and eventual suicide was a tragedy.

Isn't horror aimed at teens and immature adults?
It's one of the many reasons why I like the genre (the immature bit).
Haven't seen it but, if you said she gets her kit off, then wayhay (that was my immaturity showing through again).

Aye, tears of joy when it finally finished. Sheer unmitigated crap. I've seen a LOT of kids films now, and that one sits right down at the bottom with Wall-E. Abysmal.

Patriots day. It's about the Boston bombings and how the police tracked down the people responsible. It was a lot better than I expected.
