Last Film You Watched

Trainspotting 2 absolute rubbish. Only good bits are flashbacks to the first one. Critics all kissing Boyles butt. The loud music distracted from the crap content. Really want to watch the first one again though. 2.5/5

No mate.

It's not supposed to be the same as the first film.

It's more subtle ( apart from Begbie ).

The first one was full on, in your face, which reflected their youth and couldn't give a F lifestyle.

This one reflects the fact that they're middle aged, going nowhere, in a rut, but off the gear.

It's a very well crafted film, not a masterpiece like the first, but good non the less.

It's sad, bittersweet and very funny too . ( the Orange Lodge Social Club / Begbie and the viagra ? )

Hacksaw Ridge, what can I say, what a fantastic film! Can see why it's up for Oscars. That scene when they first went over was filmed brilliantly. Andrew Garfield was very good and throughly deserves to be nominated for best actor. Also thought Vince Vaughn played a great role in something that was very different for him. Up there with the best films I have seen. A must see! 9 out of 10.
Brillant Film just watched it.much along the privat Ryan film with the same Effekt, just how hard it is back then in 45....boss film .9 from 10.

Never given a 10 from 10 before but it was close

Couple of bits were good as you pointed out but I just thought it was crap

Is it basically a re-make of the remake of the original?

Hmm, only in the very loosest sense. It felt like it was maybe a script that had nothing to do with Ring that had been kicking around a while and someone somewhere went "well, hmmm, maybe we could film this if we turn your rubbish ghost into Samara and call it a reboot?"

I really enjoyed the latest in the Japanese side of the franchise, Sadako vs Kayako where the ghost from Ring fights the ghost from the Grudge. That was a lot of fun and really creative. Rings is the opposite. Just joyless and generic.
