Battle Royale. Good in the most ridiculous ways possible.
Great film.Just watched The Stranger from 1946, Edward G Robinson, Loretta Young and Orson Welles, great cast if you like the old films. Interesting as well from a historical point, Eddy G was hunting a escaped Nazi, Simon Wiesenthal style, coming out so soon after the war must be one of the first films to deal on the subject.
Ah, one of those films, eh. Often frustrating, but I usually just try not to overthink it and just enjoy it as a piece of cinema. More often than not, the directors explanation is so very disappointing, that you wish you never asked.Nocturnal Animals, really gripping until the end. Maybe some art geek can explain what that was supposed to be

Do you remember the when she goes to the art gallery and REVENGE is in 3 foot high letters, wasn't that what it was all about ?.Nocturnal Animals, really gripping until the end. Maybe some art geek can explain what that was supposed to be

Oh yeah, still a bit of a wet ending though. It's a shame really because I quite enjoyed 99% of it
Despite probably being one of these I hate things that are all arty for the sake of it.
American Honey wasn't it?I may be in the minority, I thought it was a poor film. I'm still getting over Zat only giving 2/10 to American beauty![]()
