Really enjoyed it. Kooky as, Nice idea though and actually I watched till the end....something I havnt done for most 00 chillersBabadook's another marmite, worth a watch for those who prefer understated horror
...depends on whose nude bits I'm looking atThe Witch - set in puritanical 17th century New England, categorised as horror but more of a horror/psychological thriller. Well acted and interesting for those who like subtle deference to (and subverting of) the genre's conventions. And a bit of nudity in it for those who like bits of nudity.
'Faults' was pretty good - managed to appeal to my dark sense of humour whilst maintaining a creepiness (and with a naughty little twist at the end....) great performances too. The director said he was a fan of 'Dogtooth' and that was pretty evident in its absurdity. 10/10 WUD RECOMEND
Crimson Peak.
Like something written by Jane Austin whilst on a bad trip.
Pretty gash I'm afraid.......
The new Star Trek 9/10 really good and the 2nd best ever after Wrath of Khan.
WoK is overrated.
Best-to-worst:
Motion Picture
Undiscovered Country
First Contact
Voyage Home
Wrath of Khan
Final Frontier
Generations
Search for Spock
...all are good films, tho'...then a long quality gap to Nemesis/Insurrection.
The reboots don't even count. Awful cheap guff.
