Just back in from watching Hamnet. Beautifully acted throughout and Jess Buckley has a great chance for the Oscar imo.
Very Good film, not sure it's going to win best film, quite a sad story ,a little slow in parts but well worth a watch if you enjoy your historical fiction.

I don`t mind his films either.

I don`t get why people moan about them.

It`s simple really, you know exactly what you`re getting in everyone of his films, with this in mind, if you know you already don`t like it, don`t watch it.

One of my guilty pleasures is Spy.

Jason Statham having a great time doing a really crap Jason Statham impression.

I think it's such fun.

If seen any of those other futuristic dystopian films, where a bunch of teenagers have to save the day, like ‘Maze Runner’ or ‘Divergent’… It’s much of the same. If you like that sort of genre, then yeah, it’s for you.
There’s a bunch of sequels, and you really have to get invested in the storyline.
To be honest, the only reason I watched those hunger games films was because at the time, those nude pics of Lawrence got leaked, and she was all over the news, so, you know, I thought I’d check it out.

Bone Temple
Mad. Think as much has been said here before. But taming an Alpha Zombie with Morphine and having Dr's arc collide with the Jimmy's was so crazy it was good. Now the ending has my wondering what's the point in any of these films since 28 weeks later.

Watched Brightburn at the weekend — not bad, and an interesting concept that they maybe could've done a little bit more with.

Also finally caught Sinners — certainly had its moments and was very watchable, but at the end I kind of thought "er.... is that really it?".

Needed something sub 2 hrs for the family to watch (12 year old boys) and I chose The Three Amigos.

Just watched Scent of a woman again for about the 30th time, honestly Pacino in this is just fantastic, dead eyes throughout… how do you maintain that ?? Fantastic film
