James Cromwell is an immaculate sleazy repressed rage psychopath in LA Confidential.

All films about the good guys require the mean spirit of a believable bad guy, a menace. Exceptional.
Well then, that makes two sleazebags on the set of LA Confidential. As mentioned before:
Speaking of horrors…

The full story is, apparently ol' Kevy gave Guy Pearce's bottom a lil' pinch and spank on the set... Oh deary me 😱!

Enjoyed 'TLGF' about a month or so back, 'Get Carter' this evening, and was looking around for something I'd not seen and read a little about...

Has anyone seen it, I'm guessing the big Burton fans might have?

You've seen it before to know what it was? Gutted about the lagers. A back up bottle of JD is always a reliable helper outer when things get a bit parched.
Me and shorts don't go well together mate. Haven't had one in years. Especially with having a Kopite living next door. Yes, you've guessed it,he one of those that doesn't go the game either

Rita, Reets, (John if you absolute must), please Baz.

Sadly they're everywhere, and the drip drip trickle of the damn is about to burst once again with a set of people that can't tell you who won a title at Anfield first.

We endeavour to persevere.

Good shout though. I haven't seen it in years

Joker 2.
Didn't need to be made at all. However that being said I didn't mind it. Bit of a goes nowhere film, but not a complete waste of my time.

Followed up with Clerks 2 tonight. Always makes me laugh hard.

11:15pm Film4 tonight.

It's a monument to awful films and worse film making.

It was a mess, and they crowbarred Galadriel in for more than was required. Only dawned on me today what it reminded me of, especially the old timey opening and sepia tones. 'Shutter Island'. Besides the twists being similar and telegrammed from the other side of the universe. It has a lot of the same parts, but they've been put together all wrong. Dafoe and Perlman under used, Strathairn could have been the key to the plot, made a big song and dance about using and losing the vision, and then made a balls up of it all. $60m to make it, earned $40m back. Somehow was in contention for best picture Oscar. Which makes a mockery of all art since the dawn of time. Who was voting for this lump of matter? Your mate coppola?

It looked very pretty, a kind of candy floss sweet picture, so against the carnival backdrop was quite clever. It felt like a computer game.

I'm down numbering my score from yesterday, four fifths of one point out of ten. Del Toro is on notice...

*adds to Watchlist for this evening. Must be a classic going by Poon's taste.
