It’ll never be critically acclaimed, but I watched The Internship with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson this evening and it’s a fantastic 2 hour film. Easy watching, funny and thoroughly enjoyable.

Rewatched Unforgiven, so good. Did not like that Bob Dylan film, turned it off halfway, will finish eventually, companion was great fun

Started watching Training Day on BBC2 tonight …. Wish I hadn’t as I have to be up early in the morning so switched it off and gone to bed.

Wow, Anora smashed it. 5 Oscars including 4 for Sean Baker (Director, Original Screenplay, Editing, Best Picture) and somewhat surprisingly Mikey Madison for Best Actress. She was brilliant in it but seemed nailed on for Demi Moore.

Haven't seen all the films nominated for Best Picture but thought Anora was great so happy it did so well, especially as it is a low budget independent.
