Last Film You Watched

The Standoff at Sparrow Creek - absolutely loved this film. Easily goes down as one of my favourites i've seen this year. Has a real Resevoir Dogs feel to it (all set on one night within one location), but slightly darker. Wasn't sold by the twist but still loved the mood and atmosphere.. great little indie thriller.

Timecop (1994)

Van Damme hops through time with a sweet bouffant mullet and absolutely no regard for plotholes.

Includes some peak bad nineties CGI, terrible future-cars, a henchman sporting a mullet from an alternative reality, a stupid villain and an incredibly jarring cut from a shopping mall to Van Damme's glistening arse on the job. FrenchChefFingerKiss.gif

Stupid and great at the same time....though skewed heavily towards stupid.

Has JCVD actually been in a decent film?

I suppose if you really into that kind of thing Bloodsport and Kickboxer might count. Universal Soldier is OK but not as good as I remember.

Watched Palm Springs this evening. Thought it was really good. Takes a reasonably well worn idea and takes an interesting new take on it. I'm a huge Andy Samberg fan so that helps but well worth checking out. Cristin Milioti very good as the female lead too.

If you aren't in the US then you will have to source it from certain types of websites. If you're in the US it's on Hulu.
