Watched Safety Not Guaranteed which is one of my fave indie films.
Is that the one with John Wayne and Montgomery Clift?
Wayne wasn't too keen on him on account of him being Benghazi
The King on Netflix. One of the worst historical films ever made.
I remember you praising it, were you messing?Apart from that it’s a good film though

It is a fetid, corpse-strewn and fly-swarmed pool of a film. I'd happily see everyone involved in it thrown out of the film business and made to get socially responsible jobs so that they can repay a tiny bit of the debt they owe humanity now.

I loved it.I liked it.

I think the potency of the Joker is he doesn’t really have an origin. He is an unreliable narrator, so all his “origins” are not real. All those people that complain about Joker being bleak, and slow and hard to watch. So ridiculous. What did you all want , a happy go lucky guy with the world at his feet, tons of friends and a great job? Yeah, someone perfectly normal could end up descending into darkness......but that is not Jokers story.
I loved it, my favorite movie from last year.
Couldn't sleep, so watched That Damned United last night, mainly about Brian Clough's 44 days at Leeds United. Leeds and their manager, Revie, were a horrible team.
Filled in the background of his relationship with Peter Taylor and previous clubs they managed. Nostalgic look at the dark side of football in the late sixties early seventies.
Not all mate, I would’ve happily gone to the cinema to see it.
Have you never seen the Shakespeare plays?
Not saying they are that historically accurate mind, though compared to that horror they are.
