This is without doubt my favorite Hammer film.

Asylum has some of the most unintentionally hilarious horror scenes ever committed to film.
The bit where the fella's dismembered wifes body parts come back to life is absolutely ridiculous. Pure camp

This is an absolute classic in my old house. The amount of lines we used out of this film. Ridiculous entertainment. With the hand moving across the floor. "Dr Star" haha

There is a bit of a Stephen King theme running here. I haven't read any of the books on that list (except The Shining) but you have listed a set of brilliant films.

Midnight Express was made all the more poignant by the fact that the lead, Brad Davis went into became a heroin addict and committed suicide with a drug overdose.

Bad Boys for Life - Just about got through this, but I thought it was a bit rubbish. It's like they wrote up increasingly outlandish set-pieces on a whiteboard and then decided to go with ALL of them, using the "story" as just a means to hang them all together.

Occasional chuckles here and there, but not in the same league as the first two. 5/10
