Missus wants to watch this tonight. Is it worth coming up with an excuse not to watch it?Lost girls - typical Netflix film really. Worth the watch but not a great 6/10.

I had the misfortune to watch this last night it was rubbish. The final scene is more than a little reminiscent of the mad rush when they switched the wave machine on at Rhyl Sun Centre back in the day....

Apparently there is a good documentary regarding the making of that movie. I’ve never seen it myself.I said to me bird (she went upstairs on the laptop after 10 mins of watching it, not giving it a chance) it's honestly one of the only films that I've ever watched that's very nearly made me cry.I thought he was gonna end up writing a book and becoming semi famous for that. He seemed like a very nice bright kid so it was very sad and unexpected.

Based on true events though, I was going to watch it, I watched the documentary series on Discovery I think it was a year or two ago about the Long Island Serial Killer...It's OK mate, not terrible, not great. Make sure you stay with it right until the end......

The House That Dripped Blood 1970 REVIEW | Spooky Isles
SELENE PAXTON-BROOKS reviews the third Amicus horror portmanteau, The House That Dripped Blood (1970)www.spookyisles.com

This is without doubt my favorite Hammer film.
Asylum has some of the most unintentionally hilarious horror scenes ever committed to film.
The bit where the fella's dismembered wifes body parts come back to life is absolutely ridiculous. Pure camp lol
Generally that is always true. The only exception I can think of is 'The Green Mile' where the film is as good as the book. Can anyone think of any other films where the film is as good (Shawshank Redemption but wasn't that a novella?).The book is much much better, as you’re in their heads, so the fear is much more palpable and acute.
Plus the “ monster “ is almost supernatural, rather than physical and they got that wrong in the film.
How old is he now ?I've just seen Sinbad stabbed to death in Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit. And to think he left Brookside to find a safer life away from the close.
How old is he now ?
Yeah I enjoyed that tooHave you seen Swiss army man? Thats another film thats either loved or hated, I thought it was superb but most people hate it
