Last Film You Watched

I said to me bird (she went upstairs on the laptop after 10 mins of watching it, not giving it a chance) it's honestly one of the only films that I've ever watched that's very nearly made me cry.
I thought he was gonna end up writing a book and becoming semi famous for that. He seemed like a very nice bright kid so it was very sad and unexpected.
Apparently there is a good documentary regarding the making of that movie. I’ve never seen it myself.
Saw this in the news recently.
[/SPOILER]

Finished watching The Highwaymen this afternoon about the story of Bonnie & Clyde. Worth a watch.
Now onto the main event. The original theatrical release of Star Wars. Have several versions of the trilogy but fed up of all the crap 90s CGI and additional scenes; finally bought the box set from the 90s that has the originals as bonus discs. Resolution is awful (the print was taken from laserdisc in the early 90s) but I think, rather know, I prefer it. No Jabba at the Millennium Falcon, no Greedo firing before Han. Top stuff.

And another :

Synopsis :

This is without doubt my favorite Hammer film.

Asylum has some of the most unintentionally hilarious horror scenes ever committed to film.
The bit where the fella's dismembered wifes body parts come back to life is absolutely ridiculous. Pure camp

I watched Corruption (1968) tonight starring Peter Cushing as a murderous surgeon. Includes this hip party scene. Has a very weird ending which I won't spoil, it's available on t'Youtube.

The book is much much better, as you’re in their heads, so the fear is much more palpable and acute.

Plus the “ monster “ is almost supernatural, rather than physical and they got that wrong in the film.
Generally that is always true. The only exception I can think of is 'The Green Mile' where the film is as good as the book. Can anyone think of any other films where the film is as good (Shawshank Redemption but wasn't that a novella?).
