Last Film You Watched

I thought I'd do the same, so watched it tonight.

This.

And the sequel, which was due out next week, has now been delayed indefinitely due to the Coronavirus situation. Unlike the Bond film, it looks like they've already blown most/all of the marketing budget on this one.

I’ll swerve then. Not wasting a couple of hours just for a sequel.

The 2nd one looks equally gash

I saw a painfully extended trailer for the 2nd one at the IMAX, and it looks as if the creatures are more out in the open in this one. Which isn't a good thing, as I thought the monsters scored especially highly on the gash-o-meter.
I watched a couple of extended ones on youtube and thought it looked very 1970s b movie

Did a back to back last night with these two last night - catching up on stuff I’ve been meaning to watch.

The Dead and the Dead 2.

Despite being ultra low budget, the first one is much better.

The first is set in Africa and follows an American mercenary as he struggles to survive the zombie holocaust and civil war.

The second is set in India and follows an American engineer and his Indian girlfriend as the Zombie outbreak spreads there.

The first is much more raw and edgy, despite being lower budget.

The people vs Larry flynt

Knew nothing of this film or the real life story behind it so went in blind.

Thought it was absolutely superb.

Scarface meets porn but asks a questions that’s as relevant now as it was in the 70s about free speech, censorship and how far can we really take it.

Brilliant performances throughout but norton steals the show with his monologues.

Very, very good film

An entertaining enough re-telling of history. The king who rises from total defeat to claim the crown of Scotland. Like all such films there are goodies and baddies. All of them Scots...
