Thought it started interestingly and the girl and the boy were mildly amusing + the German commander and Gestapo guy....

But overall i felt it was overhyped...

The Killing Fields. I'd heard good things about it but it was really dated.

When I painted this as an art class project I didn't know who it was. I've since found out it's Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) a Mexican artist and revolutionary. Tonight I watched the film 'Frida' after finding it on Amazon Prime. Shame there were no subtitles but I got the gist of it and recommended it, especially to those interested in art.

Incidentally, I wasn't happy with her left eye so I removed it. Unfortunately I damaged the paper too much a was unable to paint it in again, so I ripped up the painting and threw it away. Luckily I took a photo of it before removing the eye!

Universal are going to start releasing some of their new movies to On Demand services in the next week, about £18 to rent for 48hrs.

Expect other studios to follow suit.
