Last Film You Watched

Few things Ive watched this week.

I caught Misbehavior at the cinema, was the last thing on, really i only went just to go one last time for a while haha but the film was ok, bit slow at times but it was an interesting story and i don't mind Keira Knightley, what was good and something i really like with true stories is they showed the actual people at the end who disrupted the Miss World 1970 event, which is what it was about.

The Ritual, about a group of lads who go hiking in Sweden and get lost, in some parts its a bit like Blair Witch, i really enjoyed the first half hour then it turned into a horror film, the bit when they are hiking is great, making novice mistakes such as only having one compass between 4 people and heading from one point to another thinking its a good idea to just head straight there through the woods, big mistake haha

Only the Brave, this is great, about these fire fighters in the USA, based on a true story. Now i didnt know the story, so i had the benefit of suspense not knowing what was going to happen, no spoilers but if you like disaster type films highly recommended this one. Kind of a please dont let that happen type situation and it does, its a bit moving, i like films like that

Foxcatcher, this is very very slow but also interesting, based on a real guy, i was put onto this after watching Dark Waters as its about a member of the Du Pont family, some real weirdo who is obsessed with wrestling, long and slow but interesting too.

The Summit, documentary film about K2 and a disaster when a bunch of climbers died, this is really good and including footage they took themselves and a few re-enactments, bit like that Everest film, great if your interested in mountains

Foxcatcher is class. Steve Carell scares me in it.

The Ritual is much much better as a book mate.

The book is really unsettling, as you`re in their heads all the time and it`s well written for a short book.

Plus the " monster " in the book is something different and a lot more elemental.

To be honest, when they talk really fast, with loads of colloquial expressions, I still struggle a bit.

I have to admit though, I have the same problem with English speaking films sometimes.

To be fair, from words I'd picked up on through the film I can tell they've dumbed down the English subs so you might be better off watching in Spanish.
