Rocketman

I really don't like musicals. This might've been a decent film, had they not interrupted the actual story with choreographed dancing and singing all the time. I prefer the way they did it in Bohemian Rhapsody. Elton Johns music is not for me, though I do think the real Elton John has a pretty good voice (better than the actor in this). 4/10

I was thinking the other way. I thought Rocketman was way better because they embraced the music more, and put on a show. Bohemian was just a bland rehash where as this was a really creative way to tell it.

I understand, it just ruins all immersion in the story for me.

I think Aliens is better than Alien !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the rare films that can top each other depending on what mood you are in at the time. Feeling the love for a suspenseful horror, then Alien ranks higher. Craving an all action film, then Aliens takes it.

Both perfect examples of those genres.

Just watched 'it comes at night'. Very average and not in the least bit scary despite it being a 'horror'. Read reviews about it that said it was the scariest film in 2017. 2017 must have been a bad year for horror.

Seen that a while ago and agree,it was a very flat film, nothing really happened in it

You can't separate them for me, they are two halves of a perfect story, probably the greatest original and sequel pairing in the history of film.

I agree with this. They are my two favourite movies of all time, almost perfect film-making.

Alien is literally flawless to me, one of the most suspenseful films ever. 10/10
Aliens has Vasquez in it and therefore I just can't rate it higher than 9/10 (which means it's still a great film)
