Alien an Aliens are too great films. Alien is suspense horror and Aliens is just go for the throat action. Alien 3 Directors cut is an interesting picture, not great, but interesting.
My big issue with Aliens now is that on Blu ray, the matte (background paintings) look really dodgy.

Just saw Ma, with Octavia Spencer. It’s a bit meh but she channels her inner Annie Wilkes quite well
I recall reading an article on Terry Gilliams multiple failed attempts at making a film on the Don Quixote tale some years ago, it appears he ended up going down a different route with it in the end

In general,so I don't have to Like all those who have loved the Alien movies the last days: I agree. I like everything you have said about those films. If you have said anything negative I hate you

Space Sci fi not for me.. Aliens and stuff like that.
Don't like animated films.. Only ever seen spiderman..

Fair enough.
Would highly recommend Moon though. Fantastic movie. Has nothing do with space really even though everything happens on,well,the moon. Some sci-movies actually bring to attention some very interesting thoughts/etics issues. Moon is one. Aliens on the other hand brings up the very interesting dilemma of when is it better to use sentry guns or guards with the M41A pulse rifle? Or maybe even guards with the M56 smart gun ( Vasques says hi)?
Just been and watched Godzilla, poor story line, lots of action, not too impressed tbh.
