Yep, I agree. That whole subplot with their real life rivalry was fascinating.Glad they showed Edison to be the bell end he actually was
I really liked Bowie as Tesla. In fact the whole film is really well cast.

Far superiorCheers, going on Sat.
Is it as scary as it looks ?
The last decent horror that was out was Sinister ( first one ).
How does it rank compared to that, as it looks quite similar in set up ?
The performances were excellent, as was the scenery, I enjoyed it a lot, I'm quite happy for films to fool me and not try and work out the twist, plenty of time to look at the clues after and forget cynicism whilst on a first viewingYep, I agree. Paging @Gwladysstreetlad @McBainI don’t get the popularity of Marvel films. Sure, I can see the attraction of big-budget, mindless action popcorn flicks with cool-looking characters, but there are like 20 of these, they churn them out all the time and they’re pretty much the same film.
I knew that Fallon wasn't what he seemed but I thought it was to do with Tesla's machine (don't want to give spoilers in case anybody else is going to watch it). Great twist and well set up. Like the 6th Sense, once you know, you can go back and see how the dialogue tells you what's about to happen.
My only gripe was the sci-fi stuff, not sure it really fit with the rest of the film.

Your certainly right regarding marvel movies. Imo though Man of Steel and Batman Vs Superman (apart from the terrible Martha line) were good films and a welcome departure in tone from the usual tedious marvel farce.Paging @Gwladysstreetlad @McBain
My own opinion is there hadn't been a good superhero film since Ironman 2, winter soldier gets a pass
