HOWEVER....I thought it was brilliant...couldn't take my eyes off the screen and after looking online it has a lot of very strong user reviews

This in one Netflix from today from the Ex Machina director. Didn't get put on UK cinema's as the director refused to go with the distributors wishes to change the ending.

It looks brilliant.

Think it's just the Uk. Apparently no one wanted to take the risk with 'intelligent sci-fi' after Blade Runner.

Massive shame, really wanted to see it at the cinema. At the same time though, nice to see the director not changing it.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Not as bad as I thought it would be. Kids enjoyed it as well.

I quite liked this one. I'm not sure why though. It drags on a bit and it's a bit disjointed but it's not bad.

Yeah, I saw it last weekend with my gf. We both really enjoyed it. Bateman is excellent as usual, his weirdo neighbour is hilariously weird, and his wife is good too.
