It did not sweep the oscars as first thought - someone awarding them may have actually watched the film!

Finally got around to watching this.

Wasn’t expecting much, but I really enjoyed it.

I don’t know whether it was intentional, but it’s a almost an art house horror. The set and cinematography were superb.

Thankfully Sean Bean only had a big part.

might have to give 'shape of the water ' a go, wasnt going to as i didnt really enjoy pans labyrinth, but i think thats cos i wasnt prepared for it to be so disturbing/miserable!

i didnt know anything about him when i watched it, i was expecting this lovely magical fairytale film..i was somewhat surprised!

Yep i think i'd enjoy it knowing what kind of film it is, i have to be in the right mood for certain films...

The film is a metaphor, for how society treats people who are different.

Think of it, as a dark adult fairy tale and you won`t go wrong

The Shape of water...

Sorry just weird for me... Could have been decent until the beastiality begins... Weirdly, none of the movie reviews i watched on YouTube mentions this, they refer to it as a love story....she's shagging a fishman ffs.... They even call him a "wild creature" after he eats the head off her pet cat.... But yeah, a 'beautiful love story'.........Hollywood is weird...

I'll not be seeing it. It doesn't look like my kind of thing. Maybe if I was about 12years old, I'd go.
