Absolutely. I found the atmosphere of smalltown America better portrayed in Manchester By The Sea, which, while concerned with the same themes of guilt and redemption, managed to be more sympathetic and less brutal. The boy in that was played by Lucas Hedges who played Mildred's son in Three Billboards.Really? I thought it was great. Different strokes for different folks, I guess?

The Fly (1986).
Shlock body horror classic from Cronenberg.
9/10.
Sorceror - Excellent. A grimly pessimistic view of fate but difficult to argue with.
Aye - At the top of his game in it. I wanna see a full film of that little vignette at the beginning with the church robbery. Is that the Roy Scheider one? Love that film.
