Okay, I know Wikipedia isn't exactly ITK but I took a look at Traore's page and there are some interesting things on there reference his proposed move to us.

On 17 January 2014, Traoré rejected a move to West Ham United after the East London club applied at a hearing for a work permit. After learning of interest from Everton FC, the chance to challenge for The UEFA Champions League was too good to turn down, and after speaking with Arouna Koné decided to fly up to Merseyside with his family. The deal, with a further season loan option will be confirmed on 20 January 2014 prior to kick off against West Bromwich Albion.

A further loan option???

We won't be paying his wages until he's fit, it's irrelevant.

Lukaku is currently fine, it would be different if he was injured and we actively needed a striker immediately.

Finally, do you really think Martinez would buy him if he didn't think it was worth it ?

No, I suppose not, however, we have just sold our immediate back up to Lukaku, so should he get injured it will look like bad management as we will have Vellios to come in only.

seriously? you seriously think we should think we should have hibbert as 2nd choice striker.

apart from that free-kick in pre-season, he hasn't scored in donkeys years.
