certainly not "the right character" as Roberto would say. But if we really want to save our transfer budget for the summer (and it sounds like we do) we are not going to find a better striker available on loan this month than Lacina Traore. We have to go for him.

Seriously happened to me this on Champ manager 1.

Everton had a transfer budget of about 50p to start with, Taribo West springs to mind on a free!

I signed Claus Thomsen for Everton and 1 month later, it actually happened. It was as disappointing on the PC as it was in real life.

2.5 mil seems a bit much to me, expected about 1mil-1.5

Surely it wont be that much. £4m for a 3 month loan of a striker that might not even be first choice.

We won't be paying his wages until he's fit, it's irrelevant.

Lukaku is currently fine, it would be different if he was injured and we actively needed a striker immediately.
