I don't get that mate, surely the fact we can get shut is a good thing. What if we'd spunked 10 million on him?

What i mean is he is injured and no good to us now. So when we need someone to score goals, he is pulling his hamstring and leaving us desprately short up front.

However next season he could go to monaco, never miss a game and score 30 + goals. No good to us now as he currently is but we signed him for that reason.

Imagine if we signed him and after a bad few months he rewarded us like that? The difference is by May of the following year he wouldnt be going off somewhere else to do that.

No, you can only get an emergency loan for Keepers, with it being a specialist postion.

The League kinda expects that clubs will make sure they have enough players to field a squad, which we do, its just that we thought it would be a great idea to risk only have 1 fit striker.

Specialist as in outfield players can be versatile. Jags can play CB, RB and CDM at a push. Pienaar and Osman can play any of the 3 acm positions at a push. Kev can too, and can also play up top. Barry has played CB, LB, LM and CDM during his career. How many keepers do you know who have played anywhere other than in goal?
