Isn’t this exactly what Corbyn does, comments on others actions by referring to Nazi’s or Siege of Stalingrad or whatever.....why is it OK when Corbyn does it but not when Hodge does it......

Come on, Pete.

Corbyn compared conditions in Gaza to those during the seige of Stalingrad, which isn't entirely unreasonable as anyone who has actually been to Gaza, as my father has, will tell you.

Hodge called her boss a "[Poor language removed] racist and and an antisemite" and then compared the threat of disciplinary action to the suffering of Jewish people under the Nazis.

I swear you just like a good row and don't actually believe half you write. It reminds me of my late grandfather a bit sometimes. He used to set everyone off against each other then sit back and make pithy remarks and say "hehe, I do like a good row". He was a scouser and a good blue and considered himself a "classic liberal". You'd have probably got on quite well lol

Fair enough, and I’m sure I would have got on well with him. I don’t believe Corbyn is anti-semite, I think he is anti-Israel and I would like to think that he genuinely does want ‘all sides’ to stop suffering. But he has a funny way of showing it, by always going with those who appear to have terrorist links. He just can’t help himself. But he is incompetent and this ongoing shambles merely reinforces it. Hodge may well have overstepped the mark, but she plainly believes in what she is saying......

Corbyn in a car with Nazi's? Classy.

Classy.

The anti-Corbyn brigade don't want any discussion, they want to slag off Corbyn and mock his supporters and then throw a strop when they don't get their way. And Corbyn is in much position then any time before if you want to believe the polls, once in a purdah period and media have to grow up, oh Jeremy Corbyn....

Having reflected on that interview overnight, whilst the bit comparing Britain 2018 to Germany 1936 was absolutely risible it was probably at least explainable in that her generation probably were told by their parents to be very wary of any signs of growing antisemitism.

The bit that really struck me was when she cited the dangers of the rise of populism, as if Blair wasn't the most populist PM we have ever had (at one stage he even had his own theme song ffs).

This fella though...

The media have been absolutely itching for a fight and they're getting one. They have attacked Corbyn on a daily basis for three years now and people are rightly saying enough is enough.

The crux of the matter is the media is utterly opposed to Corbyn's politics and rightfully so because they know the game is up if he gets in. The fact so matter of them are trying to become anti semitism crusaders in the process shows how desperate they are for anything to bring him down.

Dan Hodges, the guy who is wrong about literally everything ever. Utter waste of skin.

Popular isn't the same thing as populist. Under no definition of the term was Blair a populist.
