Current Affairs Labour and Anti Semitism.......

Just as well the current ultra national Israeli government is not trying introduce segregation laws between Jews and Arabs, just imagine the need to silence and deflect known critics if it were..
Last time this happened it was protests and Israeli soldiers joking over sniping people but Labour Anti Semitism rears it head in the headlines.

And this labour rule change is well over week old, strange timing.

An Israel Government wanting to introduce segregation laws, and barley murmur by our news media.

Yes the world civilised countries abide by that rule somehow Corbyn has to make amendments to it....
Margeret Hodge calls him put - guess what she's now being investigated.......
As a socialist I cannot vote for a Labour government with Corbyn,and his cronies are in place !

Margaret Hodge is a disgraceful old Zionist apologist for an apartheid regime. She and her Tory Party and Tory media backers are upset that they cant get the LP under the leadership of a very decent man to accept their filthy inuhumane supportive view of Israel and their many apologists.

She and the rest of them need to get out of Labour now and form their own party, because the LP under Corbyn doesn't endorse Israeli racism or the neo-liberal political-economy that she and her extreme right wing Blairite cohorts personify.

If Corbyn's stance is that Israel is the moral equivalent of Nazi Germany and he detests the very notion of it, and as such the policy of the Labour party is now the same, then fine - come out and say just that and have it official, then make the argument for that stand.

The problem is that he's trying to have his cake and eat it. It's the same with Brexit, especially during the referendum where he couldn't bring himself to come down on one side of the fence or the other, so he ended up supporting Remain by doing next to nothing because in reality he was pretty much in favour of leaving.

I don't think he is an anti-semite; I think he just hates Israel. But that's the point - I'm just guessing here (albeit a very obvious, well educated guess), because he won't just say it as it is because he constantly hedges his bets.

This is precisely why he's a poor politician and a poor leader, as he needs something to campaign for or against to get him actually going - which is why he's great at a General Election but terrible every other moment.

It’s really about not adopting what everybody else seems to accept as antisemitism.....from the Labour supporting Guardian....

He's in Opposition. You dont reveal your hand on everything in Opposition. It's bad politics, not the good politics you claim it to be. The trick of Opposition leadership is to stand back and let the Governement stew in its own piss....as he's doing with the Tories, who are finishing themselves off for him without him doing much himself.

Autumn election ----> Labour Government. Job done.

No, he's stewing in his own piss. That's the problem - if he was decisive on such things then he doesn't get attacked for being clueless. But he's constantly indecisive.

The Tories have no issue with anti-semitism, because they are decisive on it.
