I think they kind of complimented each other in a weird kind of way

They did, one has the speed that can recover if a ball gets in behind and one is more a no nonsense header and solid defender if he doesn't have to move much. Knowing that the one has the strengths that the other hasn't takes away some of the panic.

Both seem to be confidence players and are very good when they have it and fairly awful when they don't.
