2018/19 Kurt Zouma

It seems from the outside looking in that Silva is very stubborn manager and very loyal to players he has already worked with. There have been press hints that he refused to accept Zouma, Doucouré could not be done. He certainly used the press to put pressure on Brands and the Board. It seems likely to me at least that this has led to some wasted effort with Silva insisting we push right to the wire to see if the situation can be changed possibly even when Brands has told him it cannot be done. I still expect Brands to pull a CB out of the hat tomorrow but I think part of the debrief from this window between the pair needs to be Brands setting stronger limits with Silva in the future on how much say he gets and on how far we flog a dead horse.
This is completely unsubstantiated. I love how a long post becomes fact. You have no idea who or what is pulling where....but it's long.. so...

He arrived with a really bad injury with specialists that Adidas had also involved- source- a member of medical staff that had a famous footballing father.
He's a good defender, let's see him fit before Barry casts his judgement.

No judgement from me - was just saying the jury is still out on the guy and can't be completely relied on until proven

Unfortunately even these mild comments seemed to go against the grain of blindly hero worshipping the man - meaning I was shot down in flames by the forum leadership!

he'll regret it when Chelsea abandon him when their transfer ban ends and wonder why he's on the bench for them after they've blown some money on some foreign defender and I hope we don't come back in for him (we probably will)

We should look elsewhere if he isn't coming now.
Fat frank will set him back in his development and he can only dream of what might have been as Everton leave Chelsea in their wake.

This move was over for me as soon as he said what he said few weeks back, had a little hope that he may change mind, but even though you can say things to keep the peace type of thing,he really didnt have to say it ,ie he wants to say but be 1st team, plus all this stuff that they wouldnt sell a player because of ban, which has just been proved etc that they would with Luiz going, which probably means even Tomori may stay

We will move on by the time. If he is not coming now then so be it.

Was over when Chelsea got given a transfer ban.

Not for me it wasnt,as soon as he said that he wanted to stay etc,he could have asked to go in same way Luiz has,no one thought he was going to be the one and it was odd ons for Tomroi to go on loan [he still may do],but anyway its gone now

Like someone from France, maybe?
