We should have had a replacement wrapped up by now imo, shouldn't have let this drag on so much. Look at us throwing money all over the shop, we could have easily got it done late in the window. We lost 3 centre backs from last season (can I really count Williams?), so we've needed two all window imo. But hey, no team ever has a perfect window.

Think he may be here January anyway... Well, if we have tomori, probably not actually.

I guess he will stay for like 2 seasons at Chelsea and get sold eventually. It won’t be us.

It seems from the outside looking in that Silva is very stubborn manager and very loyal to players he has already worked with. There have been press hints that he refused to accept Zouma, Doucouré could not be done. He certainly used the press to put pressure on Brands and the Board. It seems likely to me at least that this has led to some wasted effort with Silva insisting we push right to the wire to see if the situation can be changed possibly even when Brands has told him it cannot be done. I still expect Brands to pull a CB out of the hat tomorrow but I think part of the debrief from this window between the pair needs to be Brands setting stronger limits with Silva in the future on how much say he gets and on how far we flog a dead horse.

ha ha. You should be a journalist. You pick out the section of a quote and run with it so it suits your agenda. Whereas I actually said he was very impressive given that he never got himself match fit. Puts a completely different spin in it. And I've only had 2 people react to that, including you.

How many people pulled you up on that ridiculous article you posted and endorsed?

Look mate, you don't rate Mina. Fair enough. I'm sure I'll get over it with time.lol
He arrived with a really bad injury with specialists that Adidas had also involved- source- a member of medical staff that had a famous footballing father.
He's a good defender, let's see him fit before Barry casts his judgement.

Hope the lad gets a good round of BOOS when he comes back to Goodison.

Lads led us on all window with no intention of returning.
He hasn’t though has he?
As far as I recall when Lampard spoke to him early doors Zouma praised him and stated he was happy to stay at Chelski.
A touch childish to consider booing him really.
If you were being serious of course , if not apology’s for missing the irony.
