Match Thread KRC Genk vs Everton (Sat 22nd July, 15:00)

A bit rusty, reckon you can tell we were on a plane three hours ago. But I really like the look of this team, all about energy and quick passing and moving. Klaassen will be huge for that, but Sandro quickly is looking the sort of striker I've been desperate for us to have for ages.

Not certain we will win this, but I don't really care. This is a good test and I like what I'm seeing overall.

What a bargain Sandro signing...this is even more of a bargain that idrissa signing last season...he looks good and only been with the team for a few days...i think he could be even better than lukaku...perfectly suited for premier league football.

Let's not build him up too much just yet mate.

They look sharper but it's no surprise considering their season starts next week.

We've done okay. A few bright moments and Sandro has done really well.

His cross was great and Rooney's finish superb.

Rooney has to be central for me though. He's wasted out wide. Give Sandro a free role off him.

Dowell hasn't really got into it, and that's what's missing from his game at the moment.

I think Rooney and Sandro, as they develop their understanding, will be a great partnership. Really like Dowell, think he is a fantastic prospect, yes he seems a bit casual at times but you can see his quality. Good, competitive first half, ideal preseason game!

The donkey Williams slows us down so much with his laboured side to side passing and his taking forever to pass into midfield. Baines is guilty of this aswell

Observations.
Pickford has a weird shaped arse, its sort of huge and sticky-outy
Williams is looking really beefy
Klassen looks a confusingly like a young Naismith. If we were going ot clone players, you'd think we'd have started with the talented ones.

Its not Britains next top model!!
